Discover Log Enhancements

1. Log-volume histogram

  • New time-series strip above the results table showing log volume over time, bucketed automatically to your selected window.
  • Errors are overlaid in red and given a minimum visible height so even a handful of errors in a busy window are spottable.
  • Click a bar to zoom the search into that time bucket.
  • Drag across bars to select and drill into an exact time range.
  • Hover tooltip:
    • Displays a compact, unobtrusive summary with the real log counts by Files.

2. Severity awareness

  • Error rows are visually flagged (red accent) so problems stand out while scanning.
  • Errors quick-filter to show only error lines, based on the shared, authoritative error definition (consistent with the Sessions error views).

3. Search & filtering

  • Matched-term highlighting makes search results easier to scan.
  • Log file filters let you narrow searches to specific log streams.
  • Selected log files are displayed as removable chips with live match counts.
  • Per-file match counts and freshness indicators help identify which logs contain the most relevant and recent activity.
  • Result summary displays the total matching records alongside the number of error records for the current search.

4. Log Details

  • Added a dedicated Log Details dialog for inspecting individual log entries.
  • View the complete log message without truncation.
  • Inspect the raw indexed JSON document for the selected log entry, including parsed metadata and original fields.
  • One-click copy actions for the timestamp, file name, message, and raw JSON simplify sharing log records during troubleshooting.

5. Charger health & freshness

  • Pipeline-health strip (shown when no single session is selected):
    • Last OCPP message — when the charger last communicated in real time.
    • Last diagnostics — the charger's most recent successful diagnostics upload, with a View sync status link to request a new sync.
  • Data-recency indicators so you can tell how current the logs are.
