Chargestations

The chargestation is the main asset in your network. You can configure and manage it remotely from the dashboard. There is a LOT of information here so let us dive in.

Chargestation Table

Endpoint

This is the OCPP identification for the chargestation. When you first configure the chargestation to point to eDRV via web sockets you will need to enter this information in your hardware config utility. You can rename the endpoint as you see fit via the edit chargestation button on the right. Also see Chargestation Connection

CS Id

Each chargestation on eDRV has a permanent web URL associated with it for mobile driver payments. This is the immutable identifier for this chargestation, usually printed on a label on the chargestation.

Online?

Is the chargestation communicating with eDRV? Hovering over the icon will tell you when was the last message received from the chargestation.

(Handshake): Connected and communicating with eDRV

Connector State

A real-time status of the connector state as reported by the chargestation to eDRV.
Available
Preparing (Cable Plugged In or Driver Authorized)
(Charging Station Icon) Charging Session in progress
Unavailable (Disabled by the admin)
Hardware Faulted (reported by the chargestation)

Enabled

Toggle this switch to enable/disable the chargestation. When disabled the chargestation will no longer be able to start any transactions and will not be marketed to drivers via the mobile app.

Public

If you do not want to market your chargestation to the public (via the mobile driver app) you can set it for private use here. In this mode you can use any active RFID cards (tokens) to start/stop private use transactions.

Any transactions conducted using RFID Tokens are not billed. Only use this mode with caution.
